Festive fun and shopping awaits at Woolhanger Winter Fayre.
Nights drawing in, tubs of chocolates on offer in our local supermarkets, and jolly jingles on the radio can only mean one thing; Christmas is coming!
With the festive season on the horizon, you might be starting to think about what events and outings you can attend in the coming months to get you feeling full of cheer.
At North Devon Hospice, we’ve got plenty of seasonal activities and events lined up to kick-start your Christmas, one of which is our annual Winter Fayre at the stunning Woolhanger Manor.
Taking place on Sunday, December 3, from 1pm – 4pm, this festive fayre is a celebration of all things local and offers visitors the chance to discover some of North Devon’s most beautiful Christmas creations.
From delicate decorations to artisan gifts, a talented selection of crafters and makers will be selling their goods in Woolhanger Manor’s grand Music Room while a symphony of Christmas music will help to create the perfect atmosphere. Warm mulled wine and delicious mince pies will also be on offer to enjoy, making browsing even easier!
Anyone is welcome to join us for our Woolhanger Winter Fayre. All we ask is that you make a donation – large or small - to help fund the vital end-of-life care offered by North Devon Hospice.
Anything you give at this festive time of year will mean the world to patients and families and help to ensure that care, comfort, and support are ready and waiting for anyone who needs it this Christmas and beyond.
Christmas is always a special time at the hospice when our care becomes even more meaningful.
While our Bedded Unit nurses will be providing round-the-clock care to patients staying at the hospice during the festive period, our community teams will be travelling to people’s homes - even on Christmas Day - to make sure they are free from pain and without worry.
By attending our beautiful Winter Fayre, you help to make this support possible.
To secure your free place at our Woolhanger Winter Fayre, please visit northdevonhospice.org.uk as we’d love to know you’re coming.
Thank you as always for your wonderful support and I look forward to joining you in the winter festivities soon!
