Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman will be celebrating 30 years of performance when they appeal at The Plough Arts Centre in Torrington on Saturday, October 18.
For three decades, Kathryn and Sean have carved out a place as one of the most enduring and captivating duos in British folk.
Now, in 2025, they return to the stage to mark an incredible milestone — 30 years of spellbinding songs, flawless musicianship and unforgettable live performances.

From their early days in 1990s folk super group Equation to becoming BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards’ Best Duo (twice!), Kathryn and Sean have never stopped evolving — blending tradition and innovation into a sound that is uniquely theirs.
This tour sees them release their very first live concert album, Another Day at the Circus — described as a beautiful snapshot of the connection, storytelling and musical brilliance that happens every time they step on stage.
The Telegraph rates them as ‘folk music for the modern age’ while Acoustic Magazine simply says ‘these guys are something special’.
