A well-known local brewery has reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating business success across the region by once again sponsoring the Torbay Business Awards.
Bays Brewery has returned as a sponsor for this year’s awards, highlighting its ongoing support for the local business community and the role the event plays in recognising achievement across Torbay.
Director of Bays Brewery, Peter Salmon, said the company’s involvement reflects its strong ties to the area and its belief in championing local enterprise.
“Bays Brewery, being part of the local community, is at the heart of everything we do,” he said. “The Torbay Business Awards provide a brilliant platform to recognise the hard work and achievements of businesses across the region, and we’re proud to play a role in championing that success.
“Supporting the awards aligns closely with our values of community, collaboration and celebrating local talent.”
The Torbay Business Awards have become a key date in the local calendar, bringing together organisations of all sizes to showcase innovation, resilience and growth. Sponsors play a crucial role in ensuring the event continues to thrive, while also demonstrating their own investment in the area’s economic future.
Bays Brewery, which has long been associated with the region, said it has seen the benefits of the awards first-hand, not only in recognising excellence but also in strengthening connections across the business community.
Mr Salmon added: “We’ve seen first-hand the positive impact these awards have in bringing businesses together and shining a spotlight on the incredible work happening across Torbay. It’s something we’re very pleased to continue supporting.”
Entries for this year’s awards are now open, with businesses and individuals encouraged to apply or nominate others. The Torbay Weekly team is also offering support with the application process to help ensure entries are submitted.
A wide range of categories will be recognised this year, including Inspiring Employer, Best New Business, Small Business of the Year, Rising Star, and Greener Futures, alongside awards celebrating innovation, tourism, food and drink, and community impact.
The finalists will be shortlisted ahead of a gala awards night at the Riviera International Centre in Torquay on June 5.
