Torquay's Unleashed Theatre Company is launching its most ambitious community project yet - and you can take part.

Torquay's Unleashed Theatre Company is launching its most ambitious community project yet - and you can take part.
Based at the the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Abbey Road, Unleashed are staging The Prince of Egypt - and they are looking for actors.
Last year the theatre company were awarded the Kings Award from King Charles and the Crime Commissioner's Community Champion Award in the Torbay Weekly Business Awards for their community work in Torquay.
Their hugely successful sell-out community production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ engaged with over 100 local people both on stage and behind the scenes and played to full houses.
Unleashed are once again embarking on an epic journey to produce the amateur premiere in Torbay of Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and his amazing West End hit The Prince of Egypt.
Unleashed Artistic Director Martin Harris said: "This is a great opportunity for local folk to get involved in a fully produced Musical in November.
"We are looking for actors who can sing and move although as an inclusive award-winning company we want to give everyone the chance.”
Based on the Dreamworks film, the West End hit was developed and became an incredible spectacle on the West End Stage featuring the Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey hit ‘When you believe’.
A launch  night is being held on Thursday April 26 at 7pm followed by an Audition Day on Saturday May 9 at 10.30am both at The Royal Lyceum Theatre, Abbey Road, Torquay.
