Tavistock AFC slipped to a 1-3 home defeat against Bristol Manor Farm on Wednesday evening as Elliott Dugan’s clinical hat-trick proved decisive at Langsford Park.
The visitors made a lightning start and were ahead inside four minutes.

A low effort was parried by young goalkeeper Thomas Burstow, but the rebound fell kindly for Farm’s number 10 Elliott Dugan, who calmly chipped into the unguarded net to stun the home side.
Manor Farm continued to threaten and doubled their advantage on 16 minutes.
After breaking through down the left, the ball eventually reached Dugan on the edge of the area, and he produced another delicate chip into an empty goal, to make it 0-2 to the visitors.
Tavistock gradually settled and began to apply pressure of their own.
Efforts from full-back Ethan Wright and captain Callum Watson went close, while Argyle loanee Kian Burch earned a dangerous free-kick on the edge of the box.
Their persistence was finally rewarded three minutes before the interval.
From a corner, the ball broke loose in the six-yard area and striker Ryan White reacted quickest, stabbing home at the second attempt to reduce the deficit.
The Lambs went into half-time trailing 1-2 and with renewed belief.
Early in the second period, White fired a deflected shot wide and Manor Farm goalkeeper Owen Crawford was forced into several routine saves as Tavistock pressed for an equaliser.
However, a key moment came just past the hour, and it proved decisive for the visitors.
A misplaced pass allowed the Farm to break quickly, and Dugan completed his hat-trick on 62 minutes, finishing clinically to restore a two-goal cushion at 1-3.
A number of changes followed as Tavistock introduced Jacob Bowker, Jack Crago, and Elis Aldrich in an attempt to spark a comeback.
Bowker tested the defence with a long-range effort, while Crago’s header from a free-kick was comfortably gathered.
Bristol Manor Farm continued to look dangerous on the counter.
A powerful shot forced Burstow into a two-stage save, and a header later struck the crossbar.
At the other end, a goal-line clearance denied White a second after a flick-on from Josh Baxter.
Late chances fell to the visitors, with Kian Hill seeing a breakaway effort parried wide and Aaron Parsons unable to get a shot away from a stoppage-time corner.
Tavistock’s best opportunity to reduce the arrears came when a loose ball on the edge of the box led to a chipped attempt drifting narrowly wide.
Despite a spirited second-half effort, Tavistock were unable to recover from their early setbacks and Manor Farm saw out the closing stages to claim all three points.
The result leaves the Lambs looking to respond quickly when they travel away this weekend to play-off hopefuls Winchester City.
