Exeter Science Park has strengthened support for its growing community of businesses with the arrival of insurance and risk management brokers Exe Insurance.
The company has taken office space in the Science Park Centre and will provide advice, support and insurance services to tenants, alongside a programme of regular free drop-in sessions designed to help businesses better understand and manage their insurance needs.
Jason Buck, Head of Business Development at Exeter Science Park, said: “We are pleased to welcome the Exe Insurance team to Exeter Science Park. Their presence will add real value to our community, supporting our tenants andhelping them to understand their insurance and risk needs at each stage as their business grows, and especially if they scale.
“They are keen to play an active role in the Science Park, working closely with our team and participating in events. Their regular drop-in sessions will provide an accessible and practical way for businesses to seek advice and guidance at different stages of their development.”
Exe Insurance also plans to develop tailored insurance solutions for new and innovative business models, including technology-led start-ups, professional services and science-based enterprises. This work involves ongoing analysis of emerging risks, regulatory changes and market developments, enabling the team to offer practical, relevant advice to organisations operating in fast-evolving sectors.

Since its formation in 2016, Exe Insurance has grown steadily by supporting a broad range of small and medium-sized enterprises, professionals and specialist businesses across Devon and beyond. Alongside its core services, the company provides informal guidance and education to help organisations make informed decisions as they grow.
