Set against the backdrop of Torbay’s picturesque three towns, this film celebrates the indelible impact of the artists, bands, venue owners, promoters, and ardent music fans, aged 13 to 90, who have shaped the region’s cultural soundtrack.

Through heartfelt interviews with over 100 contributors and tales from more than 50 iconic locations, audiences will relive decades of unforgettable gigs, career-defining moments, legendary radio roadshows, and visits from global superstars who have graced Torbay’s stages.

The film also celebrates local legends who are no longer with us and how families have helped shape the legacy of music in the bay.

Following screenings at venues in Torquay and Paignton in 2025, the film arrives at Brixham Theatre on Friday, March 27.

The evening will feature an electrifying performance by The Music Factory CIC.  All ticket proceeds will be donated to Music Factory organisation to support future music workshops and live performance opportunities for all ages.

Adding to the excitement, the event will be graced by an introduction from the film’s director, John Tomkins, alongside legendary Torbay music promoter Lionel Digby.
