Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in an assault in Tavistock.
The incident happened in Deer Park Lane shortly before 3am last Sunday (7 December), according to Devon and Cornwall Police.

Officers said the victim was attacked by two people after a short verbal exchange.
He suffered serious head and facial injuries and is receiving ongoing hospital treatment.
Two men, aged 18 and 19, both from Tavistock, have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Police are asking anyone who saw what happened, or who has information that could help the investigation, to contact them.
A spokesperson said:
