Residents and shoppers in Torquay are invited to a new community drop-in surgery to meet local police officers and raise any questions or concerns.
The Torquay Neighbourhood Police Team will be taking over the former O2 mobile phone shop at 77 Union Street on Wednesday 3 December, from 11am to 2pm.
Inspector Rob Harvey said: “The Torquay Neighbourhood Police Team are always looking at different ways to be more visible and accessible to the good people of Torquay, especially in the town centre.
“This first day will be a trial run, and we hope to hold similar drop-in events over the coming months. More information will be confirmed soon, and we plan to have some specific crime prevention items to give away to visitors.
“Finally, a thank you to our partners at Torbay Council for supporting us in making this possible – we look forward to meeting people on Wednesday 3 December.”
Representatives from all ward areas across Torquay will be present on the day to listen to local concerns and answer questions.
