Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a high-value burglary at a disused EDF site in Plymouth.

Between 6pm on Tuesday, 4 November, and 2am the following morning, entry was forced into the EDF site near Manadon Roundabout, where around £90,000 worth of cabling was stolen.

A second break-in occurred between 7pm and 8pm on Monday, 10 November, when intruders again gained entry to the same site.

However, this attempted theft was interrupted by a fire alarm, and the suspects left empty-handed.

Detectives believe the two incidents are linked and are urging the public to come forward with any information.

Police are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage recorded between 3 and 11 November, showing a vehicle parked on or accessing a cycle or pedestrian path that runs between the Esso garage on Mannamead Roundabout and Manadon Roundabout.

Officers say the suspects may have been posing as highway workers, possibly appearing to carry out maintenance on the path.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police via 101 or the police website, quoting crime reference 50250290011.
