Wild Night Run Series

The nights are drawing in, winter is upon us and a time of year when the magical mysteries of Dartmoor come alive.

There are many ways to explore Britain’s most famous and spectacular wilderness, and if you have a sturdy pair of running shoes, the Wild Night Run series brings a facet of fitness to the exploration.

The Burrator Noir starts the series on Saturday, November 15 with adult and junior races, including a flat 12-mile off-road circuit on the Moors, starting and finishing at the Discovery Centre at Burrator Reservoir.

The World Café and Really Wild Coffee Company will both be on site to refresh the runners and more can be found on www.wildrunning.co.uk

Congratulations to Luke Stannus from Okehampton Running Club, who broke the club’s senior record for 10 miles with a superb time of 54:01 in the recent Bideford 10-miler.
