Torquay United fans with a taste for the spectacular are in for a treat over the coming weeks.
Plainmoor will open its doors to a legend of Welsh football and Talk Sport pundit Dean Saunders on Friday, November 28.
Saunders is known as one of the best storytellers in the business and bring his tales from a long and distinguished career to TQ1 for an evening of fun, food and frolics. Tickets are priced at £65 each or £600 for a group booking of ten, and includes a superb two-course dinner.
The former Wales international attacker will share stories from his incredible playing career. which included breaking the English transfer record, and playing under legendary coaches Brian Clough and Graeme Souness, along with stories from his managerial career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Wrexham, and Doncaster Rovers.
From the highs of playing for Liverpool and being signed to partner legend Ian Rush, to leading the line for Wales over 75 times, Dean Saunders has seen it all. He’s ready to share the moments and memories that shaped his incredible career.
Torquay United fans based in Newton Abbot will have a special opportunity to spend the evening with manager Paul Wotton and the club hierarchy at the magnificent Eastern Eye Restaurant on Queen Street.
