Carols On The Square brings festive cheer in support of local veterans

Carols On The Square 2025 in Barnstaple for The Veterans Charity saw plenty of people turn out to enjoy the Christmas entertainment

The annual Carols On The Square event for The Veterans Charity on Saturday (December 13) brought plenty of festive cheer to a chilly Barnstaple evening.

Now a popular instalment on the town calendar, the event once again saw Christmas entertainment and performances from well-known North Devon singer Tamsin Ball and the Appledore Band, with Lisa Mackenzie acting as compere.

“A huge thank you to everyone who came along to sing and enjoy the lovely atmosphere as well as to the many who so kindly donated to The Veterans Charity on the night.

“Our thanks also go to Tamsin Ball, Appledore Band, M&R Marquees, Jewson’s and our fabulous team who worked so hard to bring it all together. We are delighted to announce that Carols On The Square 2026 will take place on Saturday, December 12!”
