Bideford Pannier Market was busy on Saturday as people gathered to enjoy a very special Carols by Candlelight evening in support of Children’s Hospice South West.
Held in conjunction with the annual Light Up A Life appeal, the carol service was led by Reverend Claire Rose-Casemore from St Marys Church in Bideford.
Plus Bideford Town Band accompanied the carols and there was singing by St Mary’s Primary School Choir as well as Christmas readings – and special visit from Father Christmas of course.
The candlelit service was attended by families who have had need of the vital services the hospice provides locally and across the region.
All donations given will help support local children in the South West with life-limiting conditions and give support to their family when they need it most.
You can still donate if you wish, please go to www.chsw.org.uk/light.
