Barnstaple lit up with festive cheer last night on November 28 as the town gathered for its Christmas lights switch-on celebration.
This year, the honour of illuminating the town went to Diana Lewis, founder of North Devon Animal Ambulance, in recognition of her dedication to animal rescue and welfare.
Diana’s compassion and tireless efforts were celebrated as she pressed the button to bring Barnstaple’s Christmas display to life.
The event featured lively performances from Stagecoach Performing Arts and the North Devon Gang Show, delighting crowds with festive entertainment and showcasing local talent.
A selection of images captured by Austin Wallis, showed the joy and spirit of the evening, highlighting the community coming together to mark the start of the holiday season.
