Our annual customer summer fayre is an event that everyone here at North Devon Homes looks forward to and so we are delighted to announce that it is back again for 2024.
It will be taking place on Wednesday, July 31 from 11am to 3pm at The Park Community School in Barnstaple. Last year was our first time in this new location and following a successful day and great feedback from our customers, we have decided to use the same venue.
What we love most about our summer fayre is that it’s a chance for everyone, including customers, NDH staff, our sponsors and partners to be together for a fun and informal day out.
There really is something for everyone with bouncy castles, donkey rides, facepainting, football, bingo, prizes to be won and the usual fun and games. There is also lots of helpful information and advice on hand for our customers from our partners and stall holders.
The event, as always, is free for all our NDH customers and their families, and they can even bring a friend along. Everyone who attends is treated to a free lunch and drinks throughout the day. To help people get to and from the fayre, we are putting on a series of free buses from: Lynton, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Braunton, Wrafton, Witheridge, South Molton, Landkey, Chulmleigh, Umberleigh, Bishops Tawton, Sticklepath, Pilton, Gorwell, the town centre, Barbican Road and Whiddon Valley.
None of this is possible without the support from our sponsors and special thanks goes to our headline sponsors Aico, James Electrics, Pearce Homes, Bowden’s Cleaning Services and Jed Mason Plumbing and Heating.
Our annual summer fayre gives us the unique opportunity to spend the day with our customers in the informal setting where we can really get to know each other and our customers get to meet one another.
As a community landlord we believe building strong and safe communities is just as important as providing homes to live in and we are committed to creating communities where people want to live.
We do this by listening to our customers, understanding their needs and inviting them to get involved in our decision making with us.
Our involved customers will be on hand throughout the day to talk to customers about their role as a volunteer, the benefits of getting involved and how to join in if you'd like to be a part of it.
