Wright hat-trick puts Combe in Hansen Cup semis

ILFRACOMBE 3rds went through to the semi-finals of the Hansen Cup 3-2 away to Northside Atlantic thanks to a hat-trick from Dan Wright.

Merton made amends for their league defeat the previous day by also winning their quarter-final 3-2 win at home to Braunton 3rds.

Nathan Delaune, James Ashton and Brendan Harris scored the goals, but Lewis Harris was the hero of the hour. Normally an outfielder, he took over between the sticks for the day and saved a penalty.
