WREY Arms made comfortable progress into the quarter-finals of the Firewatch Devon Senior Cup with a 6-1 fourth round win at home to Okehampton Argyle.

Having not played for seven weeks and with this fixture having been postponed five times, Wrey came out of the blocks flying.

Simon Larkin met a long throw from Jimmy Hill to knock in the first and a Joe Gillard half-volley made it 2-0 at the break.

Dan Larkin celebrated his first full start since breaking his leg last season with goal number three and Dan Dayman made it four from the penalty spot.

Then Simon Larkin stepped up again with two more to complete his hat-trick before the visitors gained a late consolation.

Wrey now face an away trip to Devon and Exeter Division 1 side Bow in the quarter-finals.
