Where do we go on climate change?

North Devon Gazette

For their next meeting, The North Devon and Torridge Climate Forum have invited some special guests to discuss some of the major points that arose from the recent COP26 Conference.  Â

Joining the forum will be an environmental journalist, a delegate to the conference and a Met Office climate scientist, who will provide feedback on the 26TH Conference of the Parties aka COP26, the international summit on Climate Change held in Glasgow in November.Â

Attendees will be Damian Carrington, Environment Editor at The Guardian, Ricky Knight, long-standing local environmental activist and Dr Jeff Ridley, whose expertise is on glacier melt and sea level rise.Â

The Forum will be on Saturday 8 January by Zoom 11.00am – 12.30 (ish)pm.Â

For a link to register please email ndclimateforum@gmail.com. The meeting can only accommodate 100 attendees, so admission will be available on a first come first served basis, with a waiting list in case of cancellations.
