THREE second-half tries put Barnstaple U13s on course for a 29-12 win over Kingsbridge in the final of the Devon Plate.
Kingsbridge led 12-10 at half time at the Brickfields Stadium in Plymouth, with Jack Cloke and Henry Watkins scoring the Barum tries.
The second half was all Barum as they started to play some excellent rugby.
Barum hassled the opposition at every opportunity and in attack they stretched Kingsbridge through good driving play, great offloading and moving the ball well across the pitch.
Watkins followed up a charge-down to score, Austin White chased his own kick ahead to go over and Matt Symons bullocked in under the posts. Will Knill added two conversions.
The winning Barum team was - Ashford, Clark, Giblett, Dunbavin, Lee, Watkins, Eckford, Squires, Nash, Knill, Lomas, Cloke, White, Morrish, Symons. On the bench were Swales, Merrifield, Bond, Roberts, Taylor, Bridges and Chapple.
