A TEAM of young Torrington Army Cadets represented Devon in the Inter Services Cadet Rifle Match which including teams from as far afield as Canada, Australia and South Africa.
The cadets, who earlier this year won the county shooting competition, comprised Serjeant Ryan Knight (17) , Corporals Rosamund Dixon,16, and James Robinson,16, and twins Lance Corporals Zach and Ben Sawyer, 15. Serjeant Knight scored 54th best shot out of 500 competitors.
The team is coached by Staff Serjeant Trevor Goaman. Detachment Commander Staff Serjeant Garry Coates said: " It has been an exceptional year for the Torrington shooting team and having the entire team represent not only C Company, but the County, is the icing on the cake.
