EUROPA Park camp site in Woolacombe is set to host its own festival on May 3 with a line up of national and local talent.

Europa Fest a range of acts to suit a variety of musical tastes and the park hopes to offer all the fun of a festival to attract festival goers from all over the country.

The headline act has been announced as energetic dub step duo, MK1 of X Factor 2012 fame, plus there is a very strong local line up.

Upbeat West Country boys, Sam Evans Acoustic, will open the festival with their jazz/soul inspired set, followed by a number of other acclaimed local acts, including Europa favourites, A Poetic Yesterday.

Four-piece indie rock band The Raptors are one of the region’s emerging talents and have just finished a tour supporting the infamous Babyshambles.

Local bands will also prelude the event on Friday, May 2 as well as electro, house and techno DJ sets lined up for their main festival stage over the weekend.

A variety of arts acts are also in the pipeline, including comedy, a fire show and local dance troupe, Masters of Mischief.

Tickets went on sale on Monday and cost £29.50 when purchased in advance, £35 on the day, not inclusive of camping.
