Britains Got Talent star Wayne Woodward will be playing two free gigs in Ilfracombe next week. The crooner, runner up in the 2016 series of BGT, will be performing live at Ilfracombe Holiday Park on Wednesday from 9.45pm and at the new Woodys Sports Bar above the Vivid premises on Thursday at 8pm. Wayne is a good friend of Lee Woodward no relation a director at the park and the bar. Lee is keen to introduce people to the new sports bar, named in memory of his father Gary Gaz Woodward who died of cancer in 2015. Lee said: Both events are free so we can showcase to the locals our venues and give them a chance to see what we are trying to do. Also performing on the nights is supporting act Craig Harvey, another fantastic singer. These are not two nights with some songs in them, Craig has orchestrated and made this a musical extravaganza that is bespoke purely for Ilfracombe. Woodys Sports Bar is separate from Vivid and will be open every day from 4pm, with young families welcome from 10pm. The Vivid nightspot itself is only open two nights a week. Lee said Wayne was in North Devon to look at potentially taking the Woodys franchise to London. You can also meet Lee and Gary at the Harbour Takeaway this Tuesday (September 5) when they will be serving customers from 7-9.30pm. There will be characters from the park to give out balloons and sweets to youngsters and food is 10 per cent off on the night with a personal signed photograph from Wayne too, with a free family ticket to one of the performances. Ten per cent of the takings from all three nights will be donated to Macmillan and Childrens Hospice South West.
