Annual produce, flower, crafts and cookery show takes place on Saturday, July 28.

THE Hartland Garden Society Summer Show will take place on Saturday, July 28.

The annual event at Hartland playing field is open to all and with the ‘summer’ weather hardly being kind to crops and produce, organisers are keen to hear from as many entrants as possible.

So if you have a supreme squash, monster marrow or rather fine brassica, not to mention homemade cuisine or crafts, why not enter them into the show?

There will be the usual classes of vegetables, plus flowers, floral arts, cookery, needlework, arts and crafts plus children’s classes.

The show is open all day and on the day there will be refreshments, sports for the children plus music from Hartland Town Band from 2pm.

Show schedules are available at local Hartland shops or alternatively contact Elizabeth Hodges on 01237 441808.
