Enjoy a day out at Owlacombe Farm in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.
A FARM garden near Torrington is being opened to members of the public on Sunday in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.
The three-acre garden at Owlacombe Farm, Roborough, features rhododendrons, azaleas, ponds and a bluebell wood.
It will be opening from 1-5pm and visitors will also be able to enjoy a traditional Devon cream tea.
Owners Rob and Ros Pickard are opening the gardens as a gesture of thanks to the charity. A member of their family was taken to hospital by the air ambulance after an accident that happened a few years ago.
The charity’s fundraising director, Caroline Creer, said: “We are grateful to Rob and Ros and for opening their beautiful garden in aid of the charity. We need to raise £4.5 million to keep our two emergency helicopters operational. All our funds come solely from the generosity of the people and businesses of Devon.”
Entry is £3. For more information telephone 01805 603285.
