Join T.Rextasy as they pay homage to the songs of legendary glam rocker Marc Bolan.
A feast of glam rock is on offer for music fans at the Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple on Friday, January 24 as leading Marc Bolan tribute band T.Rextasy roll into town.
The group is led by uncanny doppelganger lead singer and guitarist Danielz, who belts out a powerful and mesmerising presentation of Bolan’s rock and pop anthems.
T.Rextasy is also the only band to have been authorised and endorsed by Marc Bolan’s Catalogue Management.
Marc Bolan and T.Rex stormed the charts in 1972 with one of his most memorable and distinctive songs – Children of the Revolution.
Four decades later the song has become iconic and legendary, along with his other best selling anthems of that year that included Metal Guru and Telegram Sam.
T.Rextasy has been described as ‘beyond the boundaries of tribute’ and are respected in their own right, so expect a true rock ‘n’ roll concert for all ages that will transport you back through time to all the atmosphere of a 1970s Marc Bolan concert.
The show starts at 7.45pm. For more information and tickets, call 01271 324242 or visit www.northdevontheatres.org.uk
