Join local experts for a series of new twice monthly talks at the new pavilion in January and February.
A fortnightly series of evening talks will start at the new Lynmouth Pavilion, kicking off with Julian Gurney on Thursday, January 9, with stunning photographs and speaking of his coastal work as Head Ranger for the National Trust.
Astronomy enthusiast Matt Morris, discusses the Dark Skies of Exmoor, on Thursday, January 23. Telescopes will be set up outside for star gazing if weather permits. All talks start at 7pm.
February dates include an archaeological romp through Lynton and Lynmouth by Exmoor National Park’s conservation manger Rob Wilson-North: From Hoaroak to Hollerday Hill on February 6, plus Wayne Thomas from Combe Martin Sea Angling Club offers a ‘Glimpse into North Devon’s Angling Past’ on February 20.
* LYNMOUTH ART GROUP: Lynmouth Pavilion is also set to host a fortnightly morning art group for families and children from January 18 – 10am-12.30, run by a local Lynton artist and volunteers.
