Ticket winners get to see Joseph — and Pharaoh — in person thanks to North Devon Theatres and the Gazette.
TWO lucky North Devon families enjoyed a VIP night out at the Queens Theatre in Barnstaple plus the opportunity to meet Joseph in person.
They had entered our Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat competition run in conjunction with North Devon Theatres and the prizes were tickets for a family of four to see the hit West End show.
After being met at the foyer with complimentary drinks and show goody bags all round, they enjoyed the Bill Kenwright production with its popular musical numbers before heading backstage to meet some of the stars.
Both groups got to meet Joseph aka Keith Jacks, the popular runner up in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s television talent show hit Any Dream Will Do plus Adam Jarrell as Pharaoh.
Harry and George Jones, aged five and eight, from the Braunton area, were able to meet Joseph and Pharaoh after their mum Karen won the tickets. They were joined by their dad and granddad for the night.
It was a real musical weekend and a Lloyd Webber double bill for Jackie Williams from Torrington and her daughters Beth 15, Rachel, 13 and Kate, who had a pre-planned trip to see Phantom of the Opera at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth and finished up by seeing Joseph at the Queen’s Theatre too.
