THE Plough Arts Centre in Torrington is presenting an original play for children on friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29.The Jewel in the Lotus: Tales from Tibet, is devised and performed by Rowan Wylie of The Crow Show and is suitable for children between the ages of five and 11.The show brings to life traditional Buddhist stories and Tibetan folk tales, with vivid characterisation, focused story telling, puppets, music, shadows and laughter.There may also be a glimpse of a yeti.A boy and his yak are on a long journey over the mountain to Happy Valley.
