Comedian and TV regular brings his stand up shop to town this autumn.

AWARD-WINNING comedian Russell Kane will be having a baby at the Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple this October.

The television regular is bringing his new live stand up show to North Devon audiences on Monday, October 15.

Posturing Delivery will see Russell ask whether he will be one of the guys who never has a baby? And why this is not a ‘male subject’?

He plans to give birth, live on stage and then raise it… before the audience’s very eyes.

Russell has become something of a regular fixture on the nation’s screens, with a series of Britain Unzipped with Radio 1 DJ Greg James on BBC Three, plus hosting Live at the Electric featuring an ensemble of the best new acts on the comedy scene and returning to the Jungle to co-host I’m A Celebrity. . . Get Me Out of Here Now! on ITV2.

He has also appeared on the BBC’s Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo and Ask Rhod Gilbert.

He won both the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award and the Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in the same year for his stand-up show Smokescreens and Castles.
