Talented musician Rodney Branigan plays three gigs in North Devon this weekend.

The Texas-raised Londoner learned to play in Austin, performed in Los Angeles, crafted songs in Nashville, and put it all together in London.

Just one man and two guitars, he is a multi-instrumentalist with a rich and soulful voice often compared to Jeff Buckley.

An original blend of progressive folk, rock, flamenco, classic, bluegrass and jazz sensibilities have seen Rodney tour the US from coast to coast and travel across India, Africa and Europe.

He is playing on Friday (March 9) at St Anne’s Arts & Community Centre in Barnstaple from 8pm.

On Saturday he travels to The George Hotel, South Molton, also starting at 8pm.

On Sunday you can catch him at The Plough Arts Centre in Torrington from 7.30pm.
