BARNSTAPLE will be hit by Wurzel mania on Thursday of next week (March 6) when the four cider-drinking pensioners return to the Queen's Theatre for what promises to be a "ciderdelic" night out.The band is best known for its 1976 number one hit, Combine Harvester. Their unique style of music and lyrics will not only entertain but will leave a lasting memory of an unforgettable night out.As well as performing some of the best scrumpy and western songs ever written, they will be also performing some modern day classics they have managed to "Wurzelise". Supporting The Wurzels this year will be the Wag from Widecombe, Mr Tony Beard, whose unique story telling and songs will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter.
