Admission is £2 and there will be parking, refreshments, stalls, traders, quilt raffle, demonstrations and disabled facilities, with proceeds in aid of the Parkinsons UK Torridge Branch. The group started seven years ago because all the local quilting groups were full. An advert was put in the local papers for anyone interested in quilting to come to a meeting in Littleham Village Hall. By the end of the afternoon 28 members had signed up. The group has gone from strength to strength and it now has 45 members and a waiting list. The exhibition is open from 10am-4pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am-3.30pm on Sunday, plus there is a chance to win a beautiful Daisy Quilt. The group regularly raises money for charity and its first exhibition three years ago raised £1,700 for Devon Air Ambulance.
