A special pop-up Japanese food evening inspired by colourful abstract artwork will be held at Barnstaple's White Moose gallery on Friday (April 7).

The pop-up will be created by North Devon's Seadog Foods and is being held to mark the final day of the Language of Colour exhibition by Patrick Jones.

Organisers say the evening will be full of surprises and this will include the presence of origami artist Caroline Preston, who spent many years living and working in Japan.

It begins at 7pm, with a sit-down meal from 7.30pm. Numbers are limited to 30 so booking is essential. For details, contact info@whitemoose.co.uk. or call 01271 379872.
