RHS Garden Rosemoor in Devon will be holding its very own Apple Day on Sunday, in celebration of the bountiful harvest expected this year at the garden and around the country. The Rosemoor Apple Day, now in its 20th year, makes for a fun day out for all the family with amazing apple displays, apple pressing and cookery demonstrations, as well as guided walks, childrens activities and plenty of opportunities to taste and buy local varieties of apples, cider and juice. Food champion and local personality Dan The Fish Man will be on hand with his exciting and unusual apple & cider recipes and RHS experts will be identifying apples brought in by visitors and giving out advice. Those interested in sampling more of the local produce can come along to Rosmoors Garden Kitchen Restaurant, which was recently recognised as Best Restaurant by the Garden Centres Association for the second year in a row. The restaurant is a proud supporter of local producers and much of its fresh fruit and vegetables are sourced from Rosemoors own Fruit & Vegetable Garden.
