Plenty of entertainment for all the family – whatever the weather.

Braunton's annual village fair takes place on Monday, May 25.

The event, hosted by the Braunton Rotary Club and Braunton Inner Wheel, promises bags of entertainment throughout the day, whatever the weather.

Gates open at the recreation ground at 10.30am with stalls, sideshows, crafts, a bouncy castle, real ale tent and refreshments.

The centre arena will play host to many local musicians, who will be performing a range of music - from folk, blues to rock - throughout the day.

There will also be performances from the Southmead School Choir and students from Braunton Academy.

Other entertainment will include a dog show and children's art gallery and competition.

The theme of this year's event is 'unsung heroes' and proceeds raised on the day will go to Devon Freewheelers, a charity that transports urgently needed blood and human tissue around Devon, and community transport charity Go North Devon.
