Join Love/Local/Live at the Queens on Friday, July 13 for a foursome of quality music acts.
A QUARTET of quality musical acts will be featuring in a mini festival of the finest acoustic talent at the Queens Theatre in Barnstaple on Friday.
Love/Local/Live will be held in studio@QT from 7pm and will be headlined by up-and-coming Cornish singer songwriter Raurri Joseph.
He will be joined by folk three-piece Roholio, the quirky Pete Buffery plus popular festival bards Woodford Green.
It has all been put together by The Young Producers, a group of 16 to 25-year-olds who meet frequently at the Queen’s to learn more about how venues are run and the many elements involved in putting on a show.
The group are working towards their Silver Arts Award and are hoping North Devon music fans will turn out to enjoy some class musicians and show their support.
“Our mission is to bring a fresh audience to the theatre and we really feel these are quality artists that deserve a bigger audience,” said Roseanna Ball of the Young producers.
“It’ll be a very relaxed evening at Studio QT – particularly with the bar being open throughout.”
Tickets are £7 in advance or £9 at the door. For more information visit www.northdevontheatres.org or call the box office on 01271 324242.
