There is a rare opportunity to catch anthemic rock band These Reigning Days at The Plough Arts Centre in Torrington on Friday, July 14. With a sound often described as epic stadium rock, the Devon-based band are just as likely to be performing in those stadiums these days as playing at more intimate venues. In recent years the band has played Glastonbury, toured with The Feeling and supported Bon Jovi in front of 60,000 people in Milan. Drawing on a great range of influences their songs, penned by Dan Steer, are memorable, danceable and instantly accessible whilst still retaining much depth for those who want to glean more. Dans stunning unique and powerful vocals and soaring guitar are underpinned with a pulsing rhythm section from drum phenomenon Joe Sansome and formidable bassist Jonny Finnis. The standing gig at The Plough starts at 8pm. For tickets call 01805 624624.
