A host of live bands will be playing at The Golden Lion Tap on Saturday and Sunday, August 26-27

A host of live bands will be playing for charity at the third instalment of Teapfest in Barnstaple this bank holiday weekend.

Held on Saturday and Sunday at The Golden Lion Tap on the Square, the packed festival will be raising money and awareness for mental health charity MIND.

Around 20 bands will be playing across the weekend, including The Black Bullets, Ghost of the Avalanche and Say Nothing, plus numerous local bands including Chiggypig plus The Optimistics and Bicycle Repair Man.

Other bands include Twin Arrow, Charley Charlesworth and Maddie Waren.

Teapfest was begun in 2015 in memory of Siani Benson-Wills (aka Teapot), by her friends and workmates.

As well as music, the family festival will feature stalls plus food from Monty’s Caribbean Kitchen.
