Join top Scots folk band at Swimbridge Jubilee Hall on Friday, October 21
Hugely popular string band Southern Tenant Folk Union are coming to Swimbridge Jubilee Hall on Friday, October 21. The Edinburgh-based group have taken their fans on a journey across several albums to produce a thought-provoking and arresting take on roots and folk music.
A tight delivery and soaring harmonies sees the band bring a rich blend of musical talent and Appalachian style to create their own brand of traditional musicianship.
This month has also seen the release of the seventh Southern Tenant Folk Union album, Join Forces, with timely songs that reflect the rapidly changing modern world. Past winners of the Americana Artist of the Year award, the band have taken their music onto BBC One’s The Andrew Marr Show plus Irish television’s famous chat show The Late Late Show as well as onto stages at prestigious festivals.
Swimbridge is the only Devon stop on the band’s new album tour and a chance to enjoy top folk music from this quintet.
