THE energy and instrumental variety of the 3 daft Monkeys will be joined by a favourite local performer in the shape of Wilderland at the Palladium Club in Bideford next week.On Friday, May 16 the Monkeys -who have delighted audiences across UK and Europe as a lively support act for The Levellers - will be back in North Devon. An innovative and exciting band, they combine rousing vocals frenetic fiddling, rhythmical 12-string guitar, dancing bass and foot drums.A range of influences from Celtic to Cornish and Gypsy to Balkan result in a quirky, groovy, fun and very dance-friendly show.Andy Souch needs little introduction. As Wilderland he has played at most North Devon venues and his brand of folk music with his own take on it has always entertained. Expect the traditional, the not-so traditional and some of his own work. The Palladium opens its doors from 7pm.
