Following the release of The Overtones’ sixth album, the harmony group have announced a Christmas UK tour that will start at the Queens Theatre in Barnstaple.
The 23 date tour kicks off on Tuesday, November 20 and will end with a special festive show at Indigo in London’s O2 on December 20.
Founded in 2010, the band consists of Lockie Chapman, Mike Crawshaw, Darren Everest and Mark Franks.
The group were scouted by a Warner Bros. Records’ talent scout, who heard them singing when they were working as decorators in a shop near Oxford Street.
The tour will showcase new album, The Overtones, which is a perfect representation of the band’s old-school cool, modern vintage vibe.
The shows promise to be ‘a night to remember’, with the band performing favourites from their previous albums, as well as debuting the new album.
While this is their sixth studio album, it is their first release as a four-piece following the tragic death of their friend and bandmate Timmy Matley in April this year.
Tickets for the tour are currently on sale, as well as VIP tickets which offer a pre-show meet with the band, in addition to a Q&A and the chance to enjoy the show from the first eight rows.
