New version of classic British rock band continues to delight.
THE music of one of Britain’s most enduring and best loved British rock acts come to The Plough Arts Centre in Torrington on Friday.
Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash sees a founding member of the legendary band leading a line up that remains faithful to the original band.
The enduring music of the classic marks of Wishbone Ash continues to delight audiences through live performances and a rich legacy of recorded work that continues to be enjoyed by fans old and new.
Friday’s concert will see original Ash vocalist and bassist Martin joined by guitarists Ray Hatfield and Danny Willson, plus drummer Dave Wagstaffe.
Wishbone Ash itself is of course still going, but Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash should also prove a great delight to fans.
Martin describes working with his current band as ‘an extremely rewarding experience on both a musical and personal level, with a positive vibe not unlike the early days of Wishbone Ash.’
“We have a great time revisiting many of the classics from the vintage days of Wishbone Ash, recreating the essence of many songs, reminding us a of the diversity contained in the Wishbone Ash back catalogue,” he said.
