THE Factory at Roundswell, Barnstaple, continues to play host to some great musical acts during North Devon Festival June.From today (Wednesday) until Friday, catch North Devon College Theatre's production of The Threepenny Opera, by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill. Tickets are £7/£5 and are available from North Devon Theatres and North Devon College.On Tuesday, the venue presents reggae and soul legend Toots, who is coming to town with his Maytals. Tickets for the over 18s event are £23.50 and available from North Devon Theatres, BeatsWorkin and Solo Records.Tomorrow is open mic night at Cook Island, Mullacott Cross, hosted by The Average Blues Band. Down the road, Willie & The Bandits are playing at The Red Barn, Woolacombe.On Friday, there is an evening of Hawkwind's music at the Marlboro Club, Ilfracombe. Nik Turner's Space Ritual plus special guests Harry Munk Project and October are appearing from 8pm.And at the White Lion in Braunton, catch some funky house with DJ Benny Joy from 9pm. Don't forget open mic night on Sunday, also at the Lion from around 9pm.In Barnstaple, AJ and the Underdogs will be at Seamus O' Donnells. The band will be playing at the Newmarket Inn, Torrington, on Saturday.Elsewhere on Friday, Guy Fenton All Stars will be appearing with guests, Terry Williams and Graham Trevarton at the Joiner's Arms, Bideford, from 9pm until midnight. On Sunday, they'll be cruising down the river from Bideford Quay aboard MS Oldenburg. Tickets for the cruise - sailing at 7pm on behalf of Bideford Rotary Club in aid of local charities - are available on (01237) 477021, priced £13.At the Palladium Club on Friday, US band Wabash Cannonballs will be stopping off in Bideford as part a UK tour.On Saturday, Elektrum are playing at the same venue, while Peter Kirk will be playing live at the Old Barn, Bickington. In Bideford, Peter Bruntnell and Dave Little will be at the Joiner's Arms.On Sunday, there is free live folk music at the Lantern Centre, Ilfracombe, from 10am.On Monday, catch some folk music at the Beaver Inn, Appledore, from 8-10pm. Also on Monday night, there's a quiz at the Palladium Club, Bideford, at 8.30pm. That's followed by the weekly Jam Night on Tuesday. There is also a weekly Tuesday night jamming session at the Kingsley Inn, Northam, from 8.30pm.
