Catch Show of Hands singer of her debut album solo tour this Saturday (May 13)
Acclaimed Show of Hands singer and bassist Miranda Sykes is returning to her roots with a solo tour.
Back to the essentials of one woman, one bass and one guitar, she is playing at The Plough Arts Centre in Torrington this Saturday night.
During a career of more than 20 years Miranda has played with many of the top musicians and singers within the folk world, including the ever-popular Show of Hands.
Her debut album is called Borrowed Places and draws its inspiration primarily from the songs and landscape of her native Lincolnshire but seen through the eyes of someone who has lived away for many years.
With her sensational voice, and accompanying herself, Miranda interprets the soul of the land and takes her audience on a journey that will resonate through the soul.
For tickets to the show, call the Plough box office on 01805 624624 or visit www.theploughartscentre.org.uk
