THE women of Swimbridge are fishing for fellas - to tread the boards with them!Swimbridge Productions has just started rehearsing another performance in aid of local charities, but organisers are looking for a few good men...An exciting initiative called Theatre on the Move will see four short plays from the pens of local writers, performed at different atmospheric locations around the village this July."The audience will walk from one play to the next, so it really is theatre on the move," said event co-ordinator Julie Whitton."No acting experience is necessary, just plenty of enthusiasm - directors John Surman and Saskia Verton-Smith will help with the rest."The shows will take place across four July evenings, playing to an audience of around 100 people per night. Four groups of 25 will be led around the village by their own hosts, to each location where there will be a play of approximately 15 minutes in duration. Rehearsals will be held once a week at the village Jubilee Hall. To find out more call Julie Whitton on (01271) 830311.
