The touring drum group is back at The Landmark Theatre for the first time since it reopened and audiences of all ages are in for a spellbinding display of sheer energy and theatre. With fantastic costumes, huge taiko drums, mysterious masked choreography, synchronisation timed to perfection, post-apocalyptic martial imagery and much more, this is one not to be missed. Or as one reviewer put it: like watching Mad Max, Kill Bill, Kodo, Stomp and Keith Moon, all rolled into one big barnstorming display - hold on to your seats. The group was founded in 1994 and has performed at thousands of theatres and concert halls, and at festivals such as Glastonbury and the London Jazz Festival. It is also a favourite at sporting events such as the FA cup final, Formula One and Rugby World Cup and has made numerous television appearances, including the Brit Awards. The group is back with a new show for 2018, featuring uplifting compositions and new arrangements plus ethereal shakuhachi bamboo flute and mesmerising masked dance.
