A MAGICAL piece of musical theatre heaven will be soaring into Barnstaple this month - on a broomstick.The cast of Braunton Productions is inviting theatre-goers to come over to the dark side for their production of The Witches of Eastwick taking place at the Queens Theatre, Barnstaple, from July 9-12.Based on the Warner Brothers motion picture starring Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon and Cher, the musical tells the story three desperate housewives in mid-town America. When they wish for the man of their dreams they get far more than they bargain for and all hell breaks loose - quite literally - with the arrival of Daryl Van Horne.The North Devon premiere promises dazzling flying sequence and jaw-dropping illusions. Evening performances start at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
