Three day exhibition of ikebana from November 2-4.
THE ancient art of Japanese flower arranging is coming to RHS Garden Rosemoor in Torrington for a three day exhibition from Friday.
The UK-based Ichiyo School of Ikebana is staging the event from Friday through to Sunday and the exhibition will be open between 10am-4pm.
There will be demonstrations each day at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Normal garden entry applies.
Ikebana is thought to have come to Japan around t he 6th century AD and is also known as kadō, the ‘way of flowers’ and has become a deeply rooted part of Japanese society.
