Its panto time and this year the Croyde Players are cooking up a fantastic recipe with Mother Goose. Audiences can expect an afternoon or evening of laughter, dance and song, with shows in Croyde Village Hall at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday, January 29-30, plus a 2.30pm Saturday matinee. The show is repeated at the same times on Friday and Saturday, February 5-6. The story centres around Mother Goose, who decides to give her lovely goose Jemima to the evil Fairy Desdemona in order to be made young and beautiful again. Will Fairy Light be able to intervene and save the day? Look out for the dastardly Squire and his useless henchmen Lock and Stock too, plus Mother Gooses tango song about the tribulations of being a mother. Tickets range from £3 to £7 and are available from Georgeham Stores and Croyde Post Office.
